Natural spaces are constantly under ongoing transformations by us humans. As a result, we are responsible for the irreversible interventions in those habitats of flora and fauna. Nevertheless, natural fragments are crucial and not negligible elements of the urban environment. In addition, they profoundly illustrate individual needs and the seemingly never-ending greed for resources and food. This ongoing investigation of parks, green spaces, trees and plants, agricultural landscapes, and traces of vegetation documents such elementary parts in urban territories, revealing their potential and expressing the meaning of these for urban society.
